Packing Services

Hire our packers with your move or on their own: the whole house, one tricky room, or only the fragile things. At the other end we’ll unpack, set up the kitchen, and haul away the empty boxes.

Overview

Packing and unpacking services, with or without the move

Packing is where most of the time and most of the breakage happen in a move. Our packing service puts experienced hands and the right materials to work so your belongings are protected, organized, and labeled, ready to load and easy to unpack.

You can book packing on its own. Plenty of people already have the move sorted, with a truck rented, a company booked, or a corporate relocation paid for, and what they need is someone to pack the house. That is a job we take by itself, and it doesn’t come with any obligation to book the move with us.

Want help with everything, or just the kitchen, the artwork, and that wall of glassware? Choose full packing, partial packing, or fragile-only, and we’ll bring premium boxes and supplies to your door beforehand.

Unpacking is the other half. The truck leaves, and forty boxes stay stacked in rooms you’re trying to live in. We can unpack right behind the movers or a week later, set up the kitchen and closets, and take every flattened box and sheet of packing paper with us. It doesn’t matter who did the move.

FAQ

Packing and unpacking questions, answered

Can I hire packers without booking the move?+

Yes. Packing is a service you can book on its own. If you’ve rented a truck, hired another company, or you’re on a corporate relocation that covers transport but not packing, we’ll come pack the house and leave the move to whoever is handling it. There’s no requirement to book anything else with us.

Can I book unpacking if you didn’t do my move?+

Yes, and it’s a common request. It doesn’t matter who moved you: another company, a corporate relocation, or you and a rental truck. Tell us the address, roughly how many boxes there are, and which rooms matter most, and we’ll bring the right crew size.

Do you take the empty boxes away?+

Yes, and it’s one of the main reasons people book unpacking. We flatten the boxes, gather the packing paper, and take all of it with us. A full-house move produces far more cardboard than a curbside recycling bin will hold, and dealing with it yourself takes several trips.

How long does it take to pack a house?+

It depends far more on how much you own than on square footage. A studio or one-bedroom is often a few hours; a full family home with a packed kitchen, a garage, and years of accumulation can take a crew most of a day or longer. Kitchens, garages, and anything fragile are what stretch the timeline. We’ll give you a realistic estimate once we know what’s being packed.

Do you provide the boxes and packing materials?+

Yes. We can deliver premium boxes, paper, bubble wrap, and tape before move day, whether we’re packing for you or you’re packing yourself.

Can you pack just the fragile items?+

Definitely. Many customers pack the easy things and leave the kitchen, glassware, electronics, and artwork to us. You choose how much help you want.

Can you unpack just the kitchen?+

Absolutely. Partial unpacking is popular: the kitchen and the bedrooms get done professionally so the house is livable immediately, and you work through books, the garage, and the sentimental boxes yourself over the following weeks.

How is packing priced?+

Packing is based on how much you need packed and the materials involved: crew, hours, and boxes. A packing-only job is quoted the same way as packing that’s part of a move, and unpacking is quoted the same way too. Either way it goes in your written quote so you know the cost up front.
