Residential Services

Home moves across San Jose and the Bay Area, from a studio across town to a family house leaving the state. Every one starts the same way: floors covered and furniture padded before anything is carried.

Overview

Residential movers for every kind of home move

When you move your home, you hand someone the things you live with every day. Our residential moving service covers the whole job, from the first wrapped chair to the last box set down in the right room.

We move homes of every size across San Jose and the wider Bay Area: apartments and condos, townhomes, single-family houses, and multi-story homes with stairs, tight hallways, and elevators. Every job starts with the same prep. Floors get covered, furniture gets padded, and the crew works out how each piece leaves one home and gets into the next.

The pages below split the work by what you need. A move within the area is local moving, including same-day and small moves, and leaving the area is long-distance moving. The crew on its own, packing, a single delivered piece, and senior moves each have a page too.

What’s included

What every home move includes

Pre-move planning

We talk through your home size, access, parking, and timeline up front so move day runs on a plan, not a guess.

Furniture disassembly & reassembly

Beds, tables, and modular pieces come apart for the move and go back together in your new home.

Padding, wrapping & floor protection

Furniture is blanket-wrapped and strapped, and runners go down on floors before anything is carried.

Careful loading & transport

Items are loaded tight and secure in our own trucks so nothing shifts or rubs in transit.

Room-by-room placement

Boxes and furniture land where they belong, so you’re not dragging things around after we leave.

Packing when you want it

Add full or partial packing and we’ll bring boxes and materials before move day.

We follow up with a clear, itemized estimate so you know what to expect, with no hidden fees or surprise charges on move day.

  3. 3

    We pack & move

Our crew arrives on time and equipped with blankets, dollies, ramps, and our own trucks, and treats your belongings like our own from start to finish.

  4. 4

    Settle in

We place your furniture and boxes where they belong and reassemble what we took apart, so you can get settled instead of sorting through a pile.

FAQ

Residential moving questions, answered

Which residential service do I need?+

If you’re moving within the Bay Area, start with local moving, which also covers same-day and small moves. Moving out of the area is long-distance moving. If you already have a truck or container, labor-only help is the crew without the truck. Packing and furniture delivery can each be booked on their own, and senior moving covers downsizing from a longtime home. If you’re not sure, call and describe the move.

Do you move on weekends?+

Yes. We move daily, including weekends, and we’ll work with your building’s elevator reservations or move-in windows where they apply.

Are my belongings protected?+

Every move includes standard basic valuation coverage, and additional protection options are available. On top of that, furniture is padded and wrapped and your floors are covered before we start. We’ll go over the coverage details with you when we quote your move.

Do you take furniture apart and put it back together?+

Yes. Beds, tables, and modular pieces come apart for the move, with the hardware bagged and kept with the piece it came off, and go back together in your new home.

How do I get a quote for a home move?+

Tell us both addresses, the size of the home, your date, and anything heavy or fragile, using the form or by phone. We’ll send a written quote before move day so you know what to expect.
