Statues & large figures
Crated to their shape and braced so nothing projecting takes the weight.

Statues, memorabilia, display cabinets, and the collections people spend years building, packed in crates built to fit, for moves and deliveries around the Bay Area.
Collections are hard to move because every piece is different. A signed jersey in a frame, a shelf of figurines, a life-size statue, a glass cabinet full of models: each one breaks in its own way, and plenty of them can’t be replaced at any price.
Small pieces are wrapped one at a time and packed so no two touch. Large pieces, like statues and display cabinets, get a crate built to their size, padded and braced around their weakest points. Display cases are emptied first, and the contents travel separately so the glass isn’t carrying anything.
Tell us what the collection is and roughly how many pieces, and send photos of the largest and most fragile ones. That’s usually enough for a written quote. Paintings and framed art are covered under fine art crating.

Anything valuable to you that’s fragile, oddly shaped, or hard to replace: statues, memorabilia, figurines, models, display pieces, and the cabinets they live in. If you’d worry about it in a moving box, it’s worth asking about.
Usually not. Small pieces are wrapped individually and packed in sturdy boxes so they can’t touch. Crates are for large or heavy pieces, display cabinets, and anything that would be crushed or flexed in a box.
Yes, or have us do it. The cabinet travels empty and crated, and the contents are packed separately. A cabinet moved with its contents inside is how glass shelves break.
Yes. A single crated piece can be its own job, moved across town or delivered elsewhere in the Bay Area. Tell us its size and weight and send a photo.
By the number and size of the pieces, the materials the crates need, and the move itself. Photos of the largest and most fragile pieces are usually enough for a written quote.
