Vending machine & ATM movers

Snack, soda, and coffee machines, ATMs, kiosks, arcade cabinets, and jukeboxes, moved between sites without tipping, scraping the floor, or wrecking a doorframe.

Overview

What our vending machine & ATM movers service covers

Vending machines are deceptive. They look like a big refrigerator and they behave like a filing cabinet full of concrete. Most full-size snack and beverage machines run 600 to 900 pounds empty, the weight sits high, and the whole cabinet wants to pivot the moment it leaves level ground. That combination is what puts a machine through a storefront window.

Moving one is unglamorous and specific. It gets emptied where possible, strapped to equipment rated for the weight, and steered rather than walked. Thresholds, curbs, and door sweeps are where machines actually go over, so the route gets checked before anything moves. On loading docks it’s a pallet jack; on a residential driveway it’s ramps and a controlled descent.

We move single machines and we move routes. If you’re an operator rotating equipment between sites, consolidating after losing a location, or placing new machines across the South Bay, that’s a scheduled job we can run in one trip rather than five.

FAQ

Vending Machine & ATM Movers questions, answered

How much does it cost to move a vending machine?+

It comes down to access far more than the machine itself. Steps at either end, whether there’s a loading dock or just a curb, doorway width, and how far the truck can park from the machine are what change the number. A dock-to-dock move is straightforward; three steps and a narrow door is a bigger job. Send photos of both ends and we’ll quote it in writing.

Do I need to empty the machine first?+

Empty it if you reasonably can. Product adds weight, and it shifts: loose stock moving inside a tall cabinet is what makes a machine feel like it’s fighting you on a ramp. Clear and secure the cash box and coin mechanism yourself before we arrive.

How heavy is a vending machine?+

Most full-size snack and beverage machines are roughly 600 to 900 pounds empty, and stocked machines go well past that. Slim-line and countertop units are lighter. The weight is less of a problem than where it sits. These are tall, top-heavy cabinets, which is why we strap and steer them rather than walking them like a fridge.

Can you move a machine up or down steps?+

Yes, with the right crew size and equipment. Steps and curbs are where machines get damaged, so it’s worth telling us the count and whether there’s a handrail when you book. A ramp and a controlled descent is standard; improvising with two people and a hand truck is how a machine ends up on its face.

Do you move ATMs?+

We do: freestanding units, through-the-wall units once they’ve been released from the wall, and payment kiosks. We move the machine. We don’t disconnect, service, or recommission it, so have your vendor handle the technical side at both ends and we’ll handle the transport.

Can you relocate several machines at once?+

Yes, and it’s usually cheaper than booking them separately. Route operators moving equipment between sites, or a business closing one location and splitting machines across others, can be scheduled as a single job. Give us the addresses and machine counts and we’ll plan the sequence.

Do you move arcade cabinets and pinball machines?+

Regularly. Arcade cabinets, pinball tables, jukeboxes, and game tables are the same family of problem: tall, heavy, top-heavy, and easy to damage if tipped or dragged. Pinball machines in particular do not enjoy being laid down, so they travel upright and strapped.
