Loading your rental truck
U-Haul, Penske, Budget, or a friend’s box truck, loaded so the drive doesn’t undo the work.

Already have a truck, a POD, or a container? Hire our crew by the hour to load it, unload it, or move heavy furniture around inside your home.
Plenty of moves need muscle rather than a moving company. You’ve already rented the truck, or the container is sitting in the driveway, or the movers are only doing one end of the job. What’s missing is a crew that knows how to get a sleeper sofa down a staircase and how to pack a truck so nothing shifts on the freeway.
That’s labor-only moving help: you provide the vehicle, we provide the crew, the dollies, the straps, and the moving blankets. We load, we unload, or we do both ends on different days. Same equipment and same care as a full-service move, without paying for a truck you already have.
Loading is a skill. A well-packed truck uses the full height, puts weight over the axle, and locks the load so it can’t move. A badly packed one arrives with a scratched table and a wardrobe box that toppled at the first hard brake. It’s the part most people underestimate when they decide to do it themselves.

U-Haul, Penske, Budget, or a friend’s box truck, loaded so the drive doesn’t undo the work.
Portable containers packed tight and secured, whether it’s going down the street or across the country.
Arriving with a full truck and no help? We meet you there, unload, and carry everything to the right room.
Moving a piano across the room, clearing a floor for refinishing, or restaging a house, with no truck involved at all.
A single wardrobe, safe-to-handle heavy furniture, or a couch that won’t make the corner. Book a crew for that alone.
Dollies, hand trucks, straps, ramps, and moving blankets come with the crew at no extra charge.
Our labor-only moving help service is a great fit for a wide range of moves. If you’re in any of these situations, we can help.
Clear pricing up front and a real person in your corner the whole way. No guesswork, no surprises on move day.
Share your locations, home or office size, and ideal date. It takes about a minute online, or call and we’ll take the details over the phone.
We follow up with a clear, itemized estimate so you know what to expect, with no hidden fees or surprise charges on move day.
Our crew arrives on time and equipped with blankets, dollies, ramps, and our own trucks, and treats your belongings like our own from start to finish.
We place your furniture and boxes where they belong and reassemble what we took apart, so you can get settled instead of sorting through a pile.
It’s hiring the crew without the truck. You supply the vehicle, whether that’s a rental truck, a POD, a container, or a trailer, and we supply the people and the equipment to load it, unload it, or both. It’s usually the cheapest way to use professional movers, because transport is normally the biggest line on a moving bill.
Yes, they come with the crew. Dollies, hand trucks, straps, ramps, and moving blankets are part of the job, not an upsell. If you’ve rented blankets from the truck company you’re welcome to use those too, but you don’t need to.
We do this regularly. Containers reward careful loading even more than trucks do, because they sit and get transported without anyone watching the load. We pack tight, fill the height, and secure it so nothing shifts in transit.
Yes. Unload-only is one of the most common labor requests we get. Someone drives in from out of state, arrives exhausted, and needs the truck empty and the furniture in the right rooms. Give us the address, the arrival window, and the access details.
That’s a normal job. Rearranging heavy furniture, clearing rooms so floors can be refinished or carpet replaced, getting a house staged before photos, or hauling something up from a basement. No truck required, only a crew for a couple of hours.
By crew size and hours, the same as our other local work, with no truck or mileage in the quote. Tell us what’s moving, how many stairs or flights are involved, and how far the truck can park from the door, and we’ll size the crew and put the estimate in writing.
Someone should be, at least at the start. You know what’s fragile, what’s going and what’s staying, and which boxes you want accessible first. Once the crew is briefed and working you don’t need to hover.
